Evangelism Training

Rev. Steve Barnes, Outreach & Evangelism Pastor at Lenexa Baptist Church, will be with us on June 2 to help us transition normal, everyday interactions with our neighbors into God Conversations. This is being scheduled for 2 reasons. 1. As we learned in the Bible in Life Conference, “God blesses us so that we can be a blessing to others” but often we feel awkward or inadequate to bring God into our conversations. This training will help us bridge that gap. The 2nd reason we are doing this training is to announce a “Block Party & Outreach” we will host on August 24. As our neighbors will be coming to our Gym to receive free items like eyeglasses, groceries, and school supplies, we will be hosting a cookout and our Elders would like for our church people to be comfortable sharing Jesus in a non-pushy way.

Lunch will be provided, so please RSVP so that sufficient food can be ordered. This event would be appropriate for anyone middle school age or above.
